Mr. Wieland represents employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law matters, including employment discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and wage and hour. He regularly counsels employers regarding human resources policy matters and employee relations issues. He also represents private sector clients with business litigation matters including unfair competition, trade secret, and breach of contract. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Wieland worked with several California State Assembly and U.S. House of Representatives members where he gained a unique understanding of the legislative process, strategic planning, outreach and analysis. Further, he managed campaigns for several local elected officials and spent two years as a member consultant with the California State Assembly Speaker's Office of Member Services. He also worked as the Program Coordinator for the Kenneth L. Maddy Institute of California State University, Fresno. Mr. Wieland was selected as a member of the 40 under 40 class of 2013 by Business Street Online.

Mr. Sagaser was admitted to the Bar of the State of California in 1976. Mr. Sagaser has been representing employers in employment litigation and labor law matters since 1976. He has extensive jury and court trial experience in all levels of State and Federal Court, NLRB, ALRB, EEOC and other administrative agencies on a broad range of labor matters. He has handled numerous jury trials and defended class action lawsuits. Mr. Sagaser graduated in the top 10% of his class and was Order of the Coif. While in law School, Mr. Sagaser was a member of the Thurston Society and editorial associate for Hastings Law Journal and served as an extern to Justice William P. Clark at the California Supreme Court his third year of law school.

Mr. Woolman provides advice to and litigating on behalf of Central Valley employers on business and employment issues. Mr. Woolman has extensive jury and court trial experience in both Federal and State courts, the DFEH, Labor Commissioner, OSHA and Workers Compensation Appeals Board. Mr. Woolman's experience is broad and includes partnership dissolution, bankruptcy litigation, trade secret issues and collection issues. He regularly represents large and small employers including hospitals and medical groups, automobile dealerships, general contractors, hotels/motels and convenience stores.

Mr. Watkins represents employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law, including collective bargaining, labor disputes, preventative counseling and training, employment contracts, employee discipline and discharge, discrimination, wrongful discharge, affirmative action, wage and hour, health and safety, and personnel policies. Mr. Watkins has particular expertise in representing employers confronting highly competitive business conditions in a union environment and defending strike and boycott situations. A significant portion of Mr. Watkins' practice also focuses on labor and employment law implications in the purchase and sale of businesses. Ms. Ross assists employers in compliance with state and federal leave of absence and reasonable accommodation laws and regulations. She is experienced in dealing with issues related to union contract compliance, grievances and arbitration, union organizing and union election situations. In addition, Ms. Ross represents employers in all aspects of labor relation and employment law, including collective bargaining, labor disputes, preventative counseling and training, employment contracts, discrimination, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, and personnel policies. Ms. Ross is a frequent guest lecturer on labor and employment law topics for employers, including University of California/Cooperative Extension, Agricultural Personnel Management Association, Council on Education in Management and California State University, Stanislaus. Ms. Ross is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern Districts of California; United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; and all of California State Courts.

Ms. Wieland's practice includes representing clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, with a particular focus on all aspects of labor relations and employment law matters, including employment discrimination, wrongful termination harassment, and wage and hour. Prior to joining Sagaser Watkins & Wieland, Ms. Wieland gained significant experience representing environmental advocates in complex environmental law, including CEQA, NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and other various land use matters. Prior to and during law school, Ms. Wieland served as a legislative analyst for the California State Assembly, directing a variety of bills through the legislative process. Ms. Wieland also advised Assembly members on issues related to K-12 Education, Higher Education and Healthcare. Ms. Wieland was Valedictorian, and received the Witkin Awards for the highest grades in Will & Trusts, Civil Procedure, Community Property, Business Organizations, Municipal Law, and Non-profit Law.
